    We are currently seeking a Sales Assistant for our Melville, NY location. As a Sales Assistant, you will assist in gathering payoffs, financial information, cold calling, and help develop new customer and vendor relationships. By working directly with the Regional Business Managers will give you will provide them with the necessary support for their customers, and give you the opportunity to learn the in’s and out of vehicle sales and financing.  


    The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial financing, and strong understanding of banking regulations and compliance.     Job Duties & Responsibilities

    • Assist Regional Business Managers with Payoffs, Title Calls, & Collection Calls
    • Assist with deals from the BSA/Lead sheet interview; assign deals
    • Gather preliminary transaction information and initiate transaction through pipeline
    • Provide customer service to applicants completing application/documentation forms
    • Work closely with credit analyst to complete the narrative section of loan approval submittals
    • Be a liaison of communication between the credit and financing departments
    • Support the Regional Business Manager’s customers and pipeline when they are on travel
    • Seek out new business opportunities to grow pipeline
    • Occasionally attend  industry trade shows with the Regional Business Managers
    • Assist in the implementation of marketing strategies and programs

    Skills & Experience Required

    • 2-5 years industry related experience (commercial vehicle financing strongly preferred)
    • Extensive understanding of financial concepts
    • Solutions oriented problem solver and ability to prioritize multiple deliverables
    • Strong verbal and written communications
    • Sound understanding of banking regulations; regulatory compliance and anti-money laundering regulations
    • Proven track record with managing referrals; particularly with equipment distributors/vendors, manufacturers and clients
    • A team player who thrives in a collaborative work environment
    • Excellent computer skills with focus on Microsoft Office products
    • Impeccable attention to detail
